Internal Auditor

About the Role

eXtra (United Electronics Co.) is seeking an Internal Auditor to join its Internal Audit team. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern region, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Internal Auditor will contribute to the internal audit function by assisting in risk assessment, performing audit procedures, and documenting findings. The role involves conducting operational audit visits and supporting the development of the annual audit plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and evaluating the organization’s risk areas and provide input for the Annual Audit Plan.
• Perform audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.
• Conduct operational audit visits and trips to various locations.
• Conduct interviews, review documents, administer surveys, compose summary memos, and prepare working papers.
• Develop and maintain productive client and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
• Pursue professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and share knowledge with co-workers.
• Assist in providing training, coaching, and guidance to Internal Audit staff on conducting audits and other audit-related issues.
• Perform related work as assigned by audit management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Two to five years of full-time experience in internal audit.
• SOCPA membership.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of and skill in applying internal auditing and accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of the Global internal audit standards developed by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
• Knowledge of industry program policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
• Skill in conducting quality control reviews of audit work products.
• Skill in collecting and analyzing complex data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusions.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the Internal Audit team at eXtra (United Electronics Co.) in Al Khobar, Eastern region.
