Position OverviewThe Senior Cost Accountant is vital for managing, analyzing, and controlling cost-related activities within Alfanar. This role demands expertise in SAP, cost allocation, variance analysis, and financial reporting to ensure precise cost data that bolsters management decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Cost Accounting & Analysis: Execute detailed cost analysis for products and services, maintain and monitor standard costs in SAP, conduct monthly cost variance analysis, and validate inventory costing.
- SAP Financial Operations: Manage costing activities using SAP FI/CO, MM, and PP modules; perform month-end closing and generate relevant reports.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Participate in annual budgets and monitor actual costs versus budget, presenting variance reports.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure compliance with IFRS and coordinate with auditors on cost-related matters.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accuracy in cost data.
Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CMA/CPA preferred).
- 5–7 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong SAP experience is mandatory.
- Proficient in Excel and analytical skills.
