About the Logistics Coordinator Role at Weatherford

Weatherford is seeking a Logistics Coordinator Cementation Products to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time role is instrumental in supporting daily logistics operations and ensuring the efficient coordination of shipments and deliveries for cementation products.

Role Overview

The Logistics Coordinator / Customer Service Coordinator supports critical logistics functions by coordinating shipments, monitoring purchase orders, managing delivery schedules, preparing invoices, and maintaining essential logistics documentation. This position serves as a primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, transportation providers, and various internal departments, ensuring timely delivery, operational efficiency, and high levels of customer satisfaction. The role utilizes systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Excel, and customer portals to support business operations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily logistics operations, including shipment scheduling, delivery tracking, purchase order follow-up, invoicing, and logistics documentation management.
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, transportation providers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely communication of order and delivery status.
Prepare and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, transportation, and invoicing records using SAP, Oracle, customer portals, and Microsoft Excel.
Work closely with Operations, Warehouse, Finance, and Sales teams to ensure efficient coordination of materials, equipment, and customer requirements.
Monitor logistics performance, resolve delivery issues, and provide updates on delays, shortages, damages, or other transportation-related challenges.
Support inventory control, asset tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, HSE requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements while promoting a safe and ethical work environment.
Contribute to cost-effective logistics operations by supporting budget awareness, accurate documentation, resource optimization, and process improvements.
Demonstrate accountability, teamwork, customer focus, and a commitment to operational excellence in all assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant logistics or customer service coordination role is required.
