About the Role

Le Meridien, part of Marriott International, is seeking a Marketing Executive to join its team in a full-time capacity. This role is central to promoting the brand's image, maximizing revenue through effective sales techniques, and fostering guest loyalty. The Marketing Executive will contribute to enhancing the overall guest experience while upholding company standards.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to drive brand awareness both internally and externally. The Marketing Executive will utilize sales strategies to optimize revenue generation while simultaneously ensuring the retention of existing guest loyalty to Marriott. A key aspect involves identifying opportunities for up-selling and proactively enhancing guest interactions and event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote internal and external awareness of the brand image.
• Maximize revenue through effective sales techniques while maintaining guest loyalty.
• Identify and act on opportunities to up-sell and enhance guest experiences or events.
• Encourage guests or callers to purchase or schedule preview package sales/tours.
• Clearly explain details and requirements for sales presentations to potential owners.
• Verify eligibility for preview package sales/tours before scheduling.
• Provide complimentaries (*, rewards points, show tickets) to guests as appreciation.
• Answer guest questions regarding property facilities and services.
• Accurately receive, record, and relay messages.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their needs.
• Communicate professionally, prepare accurate written documents, and use appropriate telephone etiquette.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: No related work experience required.
• Supervisory Experience: None required.
• License or Certification: None.
