The Role of SOC Analyst

IT Security C&T is seeking a SOC Analyst to join the information security monitoring and incident handling team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This full-time role is open to Saudi Nationals with 0-1 years of experience. The analyst will be responsible for monitoring and managing information security incidents and risks, ensuring their resolution aligns with business security requirements. The role also involves collaborating with IT Teams and other Business Units to develop action plans for mitigating identified vulnerabilities and advancing security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate as part of a 24x7 security operations team.
• Monitor the Security Information and Event Management System (SIEM) and address all related security incidents and events.
• Ensure continuity of work by following day-to-day operational procedures.
• Respond to security incidents and provide reports on incident handling and resolution.
• Participate in forensic analysis, data recovery, and penetration testing.
• Conduct daily security analysis, scanning, and assessment for information security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Perform proactive research to identify and understand new threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits.
• Configure and administer security systems and tools.
• Define and evaluate security technologies necessary for safe technology operation and cyber-attack detection.
• Provide security recommendations to improve the security posture within the client environment.
• Adhere to all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
• Participate in reviewing and documenting computer security and emergency gate identified vulnerabilities, and promote security initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
