About Almarai and the Role

Almarai Company, recognized as the world’s largest vertically integrated dairy company and the leading food and beverage manufacturing and distribution company in MENA, is seeking a Fire Prevention Manager. This full-time position is based at our Bakery plant in Al-Kharj and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role is central to ensuring robust fire safety standards across the Operations Division.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Fire Prevention Manager provides essential fire safety support to the Operations Division management. This involves comprehensive site auditing, offering guidance on compliance with Almarai's established policies and procedures, and ensuring the consistent application of appropriate fire codes and standards. A key focus is on adherence to NFPA codes to maintain high levels of fire safety compliance within the division.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fire risk assessments across all areas of the plant site, maintaining and updating records as necessary.
• Ensure that all fire equipment is checked and tested according to established schedules, and accurately maintain records of these tests.
• Work proactively to improve fire safety standards for all employees working within the manufacturing plant.
• Perform regular fire audits, both independently and in coordination with the divisional HSS manager.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive fire training programs for all staff members.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in fire prevention or firefighting roles.
• Possession of fire prevention or firefighting qualifications from a recognized institute or government body.
• Membership in professional bodies associated with the role is required.
