Penspen is seeking a Senior Loss Prevention Engineer to be based in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is located in Al Khafji, Eastern Province, and involves critical responsibilities in ensuring technical safety standards across various projects.

Role Context and Scope

The Senior Loss Prevention Engineer will contribute to projects by operating within Penspen's Core Engineering Team or a Project Management Team (PMT) environment. The role focuses on the rigorous review and approval of safety-related deliverables, ensuring compliance and best practices in loss prevention engineering.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of the Senior Loss Prevention Engineer include:

• Checking, reviewing, and approving all technical safety deliverables provided by FEED/EPC contractors.
• Reviewing and approving fire water network calculations and fire water demand assessments.
• Reviewing and approving fire and gas detection systems.
• Reviewing and approving passive fire protection systems.
• Reviewing and approving specifications for fire water tanks, pumps, and water mist systems.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in loss prevention engineering, demonstrating a strong background in the review and approval of safety-critical systems and documentation.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Al Khafji, Saudi Arabia. There may be requirements for assignments in Al Khobar during specific project execution phases, offering a dynamic work environment within the Eastern Province.
