The Audit Station is a leading construction company seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee all accounting activities. This pivotal role ensures accurate financial reporting while providing vital financial support for managing large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure accurate accounting entries for project-related transactions.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring account reconciliations.
• Oversee project costs to ensure alignment with budgets.
• Prepare tax reports and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with teams to align accounting with project execution.
• Support audit processes and manage cash flows.
• Develop accounting policies tailored to the construction sector.
• Provide financial analyses and recommendations for strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years as a Senior Accountant in construction.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or GAAP accounting standards.
• Experience managing complex project accounts.
• Proficient in accounting software; QuickBooks and Odoo preferred.
• Strong financial analysis skills and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for negotiation with teams and contractors.
