About the Role

Saudi Airlines Catering Company is seeking an Asst. Team Leader, Operations to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This is a full-time position focused on ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of operational tasks within a dynamic environment.

Operational Leadership

The Asst. Team Leader, Operations plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operational activities, ensuring adherence to standards, and coordinating various sections to meet deadlines. This position involves direct supervision of staff and meticulous attention to detail in flight provisioning and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Take immediate action in response to aircraft changes and new setup requirements.
• Continuously monitor the telex printer and initiate appropriate actions based on incoming information.
• Ensure personal and staff awareness and compliance with changes in DIFOS, packing lists, and instructions from Saudia/Foreign Airlines regarding standards and packing patterns.
• Maintain accurate and proper records for all operational documents.
• Inform all staff about procedural and standard changes, and action all additional tasks assigned via IOCs/Emails.
• Execute proper shift handover, including logbook updates and briefing the incoming Senior Foreman on operational aspects.
• Assign staff for flight assembly to meet deadlines and conduct flight checks as required.
• Verify that all provisions assembled for flights align with the loading/production plan.
• Oversee the preparation and signing of food load sheets and security checklists by individuals checking the flights.
• Respond immediately to up-catering requirements.
• Coordinate with Supervisors Assembly and Transport to ensure transport availability.
• Liaise with Beverage, Kits, Tray Setting, Equipment, and Food Packing Sections for seamless assembly operations.
• Ensure only authorized items are dispatched on flights and security checklists are fully completed.
• Provide necessary assistance to the VIP Cell as directed by the Supervisor Assembly.
• Thoroughly check up-catering items before dispatching them to the aircraft.

Qualifications and Experience

• High School, Secondary, or Vocational School graduate.
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Residency in Dammam, Saudi Arabia is preferred.
