Role Overview: Driver

The Driver role at ADB SAFEGATE, based in Dammam, involves providing general assistance and support to technical teams under the supervision of Senior Technical Officers. This permanent position focuses on corrective and preventive maintenance and electrical activities for Airfield Lighting, A-VDGS, and CCTV equipment, as well as related airport infrastructure. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute work orders as assigned by Maintenance Management and Officers/Engineers.
• Assist in the emergency replacement of broken equipment (corrective maintenance) or scheduled replacements (preventive maintenance) on the airside.
• Participate in general custodial maintenance to ensure the acceptable appearance of Airfield Lighting, A-VDGS, and CCTV facilities.
• Perform maintenance tasks in the workshop during stand-by service or planned activities, including disassembly, inspection, part replacement, reassembly, and checks of equipment such as lighting fixtures, constant current regulators, A-VDGS, and CCTV.
• Work in shifts (morning, afternoon, or night) according to the schedule defined by Officers/Engineers.
• Participate in training sessions to maintain and enhance competencies.
• Conduct general cleaning and maintenance tasks for vehicles, equipment, and tools to ensure operable condition, including inspections, fluid checks and replacements, greasing, and cleaning of equipment or work areas.
• Exercise care and caution when handling and operating equipment, including Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP), and tools essential for functions.
• Adhere to airport-specific safety policies and practices, fulfilling responsibilities related to safety, prevention, reporting, and monitoring.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant driving or technical support role, ideally within an operational or maintenance environment.

Work Environment

This role is based in Dammam and involves working in shifts (morning, afternoon, or night) as scheduled. The position is permanent and requires active participation in both airside and workshop environments.
