About Logitera and the Junior Software Developer Role

Logitera is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our team in Dammam, Eastern region. This is a full-time position designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are eager to contribute to the development of our ERP platform. The role involves working under the supervision of a Senior Software Developer, providing an opportunity for structured growth within the software development lifecycle.

Role Progression and Focus

The Junior Software Developer role is structured for capability development over time. Initial responsibilities will include supervised defect resolution and the implementation of small features. The expectation is to progress towards independent ownership of defined modules within twelve (12) months, subject to satisfactory performance. Candidates are assessed primarily on their aptitude and rate of learning, rather than extensive prior knowledge of specific technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve application defects under supervision, with all code subject to review.
• Develop user interface screens, including lists, filters, and data entry forms, utilizing ****
• Write server API endpoints for data retrieval and saving, adhering to established codebase patterns.
• Write and test database queries, and assist with database migrations under supervision.
• Maintain interface translations across English, Arabic, and Hindi, including implementing right-to-left layout corrections.
• Conduct thorough testing of completed work before submission for review, verifying behavior across various mobile screen sizes.
• Document work completed and problems encountered clearly, contributing to team documentation.
• Learn the business domain, encompassing tenants and companies, chart of accounts, journal entries, fiscal periods, and approval workflows.
• Escalate blockers promptly after making a reasonable attempt at independent resolution.
• Assume responsibility for a defined module within twelve (12) months, contingent on satisfactory progress.

Required Experience and Aptitude

This role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of professional experience in software development. A strong aptitude for learning new technologies and business domains is essential.
