About the Role

Dammam Airports is seeking a Modification & Minor Projects Airside Specialist to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role focuses on executing small-scale maintenance and modification projects within the airside areas, ensuring timely completion, quality control, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The specialist will work to minimize operational disruptions while maintaining the safety and efficiency of airside operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders during business case development to secure budget approval and necessary project resources.
• Coordinate daily execution of airside projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budget, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with project timelines.
• Oversee resource allocation, including contractors and materials, to ensure optimal project execution without disrupting airside operations.
• Monitor and evaluate contractor performance, ensuring all work meets safety and quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, legal, environmental, and security protocols related to project activities.
• Coordinate with the engineering team for project submittal reviews, inspections, and work permit issuance.
• Review and process invoices for project deliverables, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations.
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule, or cost by implementing mitigation strategies and adhering to Dammam Airports policies and change management procedures.
• Provide regular project updates and generate reports on progress, issues, and compliance for stakeholders and upper management.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including safety, quality, and progress records, archived in the Dammam Airports database.
• Complete project closeout activities, including gathering warranties, performance bonds, and required documentation.
• Manage contractual obligations for project closeout, ensuring all parties meet requirements.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover processes to ensure systems and infrastructure are fully operational.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including contractors, consultants, and stakeholders, to ensure smooth collaboration and conflict resolution.
• Engage stakeholders throughout project execution, ensuring their needs are met and expectations align with project goals.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, developing strategies to address potential delays, safety hazards, or budget overruns.
• Work collaboratively with team members, sharing knowledge and providing support.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in project management or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage small-scale maintenance and modification projects.
• Understanding of safety and regulatory standards within airside operations.
