Operations Manager Specialty Coffee

About the Role

Rgheeb is seeking an Operations Manager Specialty Coffee to oversee daily operations, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives within our Specialty Coffee division. This full-time role is based in Dammam, Eastern Region, and involves leading a team to deliver high standards of service and product quality. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the coffee or food and beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily functioning of all coffee outlets to ensure seamless and efficient operation.
• Uphold excellent standards in coffee quality, customer service, and cleanliness across all locations.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), brand guidelines, and health & safety requirements.
• Track workflow efficiency and implement improvements as needed.
• Maintain consistency in coffee preparation methods, including espresso, manual brewing, and specialty beverages.
• Ensure proper calibration of coffee equipment and adherence to brewing standards.
• Collaborate with Store Managers, Head Baristas, and Coffee Trainers on quality assessments.
• Oversee the proper sourcing, storage, and handling of coffee beans.
• Guide, mentor, and develop store managers and baristas through consistent training sessions focused on specialty coffee standards and customer service.
• Monitor employee performance and implement improvement plans as necessary, fostering a cohesive team culture.
• Oversee P&L performance for all outlets, manage labor costs, minimize waste, and control operational expenditures.
• Analyze sales data and develop strategies to boost revenue, ensuring accurate inventory management and reduced stock losses.
• Ensure a superior customer experience, address feedback, and resolve complaints professionally.
• Supervise ordering, inventory control, and supplier relationships, ensuring consistent availability of supplies.
• Coordinate with the central kitchen or roastery as applicable.
• Ensure all operations comply with local laws, food safety, and hygiene standards, conducting routine audits and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Support business expansion plans, identify opportunities for operational efficiency, and collaborate with marketing on promotions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Food Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in food and beverage operations, with a focus on specialty coffee.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of coffee production processes, quality control, and specialty coffee standards and brewing techniques.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to analyze data and implement operational improvements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing multi-unit operations.
