Senior EHS Manager

About the Role

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior EHS Manager to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role is typically located within shared services, supporting multiple businesses. The position is headquarters-based and not field-based, focusing on influencing approaches, projects, and programs within the functional area and affected business organizations.

Role Context and Impact

The Senior EHS Manager serves as a subject matter expert, influencing the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of their team and having significant influence on priorities. The role operates with moderate autonomy, guided by professional practices and policies, and requires a high degree of operational judgment. This position contributes to strategy and policy development and ensures implementation within the area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage EHS teams across multiple sites or operations for services, projects, or construction activities.
• Support a single business unit or various service areas, with a focus on customers in specific sectors (*, Oil and Gas, Utilities, Commercial).
• Develop expertise in the EHS discipline and serve as a resource for best practices and quality.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest technical developments in the EHS field.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of best practices and the integration of EHS with other areas, including competitive landscape and company differentiators.
• Make decisions and solve moderately complex tasks or problems in operations/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering.
• Utilize technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations, drawing from multiple internal and limited external sources.
• Serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues and may lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
• Communicate difficult or confidential information and build consensus among stakeholders.
• Develop persuasive skills to influence others on topics within the EHS field.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Extensive experience in a relevant field, typically 5-10 years.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge.
