The Role: Technical Office Manager, Railway Projects

The Technical Office Manager for Railway Projects will lead and oversee all technical activities within the project's technical office. This full-time role is critical for ensuring technical compliance, coordination, and documentation across complex railway projects, requiring 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Technical Office team, coordinating all technical activities.
• Review and manage project drawings, specifications, method statements, calculations, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate effectively between engineering disciplines, site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and the client.
• Ensure strict compliance with project specifications, applicable Saudi standards, and railway authority requirements.
• Oversee the preparation, submission, tracking, and approval processes for all technical documents.
• Review and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs), technical queries, design changes, and comments from consultants and clients.
• Coordinate shop drawings to ensure proper technical integration across all disciplines.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience of 5-10 years in Technical Office Management for large-scale construction or railway projects.
• Strong knowledge of technical submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, method statements, design coordination, and document management.
• Previous experience with SAR projects in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
• Prior SAR approval is highly preferred.
• A strong understanding of Saudi construction and railway requirements.
• Experience in dealing with clients, consultants, authorities, and major contractors.

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a dynamic project environment, requiring collaboration with diverse teams and external stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
