About the Back End Necker Mechanic Role

Crown Holdings, is seeking a Back End Necker Mechanic to join its team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on the maintenance and improvement of high-speed can-making equipment.

Role Context and Contribution

As an integral part of the Engineering team, the Back End Necker Mechanic plays a vital role in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of critical machinery. This position directly supports the continuous production of high-quality metal packaging, which is utilized by globally recognized brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance on Back End and LSM Necker machinery.
• Conduct daily checks and continuous monitoring of plant and production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Support equipment overhauls, facilitate height and diameter changes, and implement mechanical upgrades.
• Assist with the installation, trials, and commissioning processes for new machinery.
• Complete assigned work orders accurately using the Apriso system within established timeframes.
• Rebuild unit spares and effectively manage the inventory of spare parts.
• Provide training and technical support to team members and cover shifts as required to maintain operational continuity.
• Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) and perform various machining tasks, including turning, milling, and grinding, when necessary.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in maintaining and improving high-speed production equipment, particularly within a manufacturing environment.

This full-time role is based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic engineering team, contributing to the operational excellence of the facility.
