Role Overview

Samsung E&A Saudi Arabia is seeking a qualified Construction Engineer to join its team. This full-time position is based in Dammam, within the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, and reports directly to the PMO Group Leader. The role is central to managing critical construction and field operations within the company's plant EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate and stabilize piping shops, ensuring their full operational readiness at least three months prior to project opening.
• Assess and optimize shop capacity, process efficiency, and the throughput of painting facilities to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Utilize advanced management systems such as FMCS/Palantir for real-time tracking and to standardize lead-time management processes across projects.
• Standardize inspection procedures and document control to ensure comprehensive compliance with Aramco SATIP standards.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 7 years of direct construction and field (spool shop) management experience, specifically gained within plant Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.

Technical Understanding

Candidates must possess a comprehensive understanding of the full fabrication process. This includes proficiency across all stages from material issue, welding, and support activities, through Non-Destructive Examination (NDE), detailed inspection protocols, and final painting processes. This technical depth is crucial for effective oversight and management of spool shop operations.

Work Location and Mobility

This position is primarily based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. However, candidates must be prepared and available to work at various overseas project sites, particularly within the Middle East region, as required by project demands. The role involves active participation in site-based operations to ensure project success and timely completion.
