About the Role

HUDSON is seeking a Cost Control - Incharge to join their team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with extensive experience in cost control and cost engineering, particularly within the Oil & Gas sector. The role focuses on managing and monitoring project costs, with a strong emphasis on Shutdown and Turnaround (SD/TA) projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing cost monitoring, budgeting, and forecasting activities for SD/TA projects.
• Preparing comprehensive cost reports and conducting thorough variance analysis.
• Implementing and managing progress measurement systems for projects.
• Managing and tracking contractor/subcontractor costs, including manpower, equipment, materials, and productivity.
• Ensuring accurate cost control practices are applied throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 12 years of total experience in Cost Control or Cost Engineering.
• Strong contractor-side experience, specifically in Shutdown/Turnaround (SD/TA) projects, is mandatory.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in mechanical shutdown/turnaround projects within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery industries.
• Proven experience with EPC projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in cost monitoring, budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, progress measurement, and variance analysis for SD/TA projects.

Work Environment and Compensation

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role requires working within the dynamic environment of the Oil & Gas sector, focusing on critical project phases such as shutdowns and turnarounds. The basic salary for this position ranges from SAR 8,000 to SAR 14,000.
