About Aloula Aviation and the Role

Aloula Aviation (الأولى للطيران) is seeking a dedicated and qualified Fixed Wing First Officer to join our flight operations team. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Region, and requires a professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience in aviation.

Role Overview

The Fixed Wing First Officer operates as a critical member of the flight crew, supporting the Captain in all phases of flight. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft in strict compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform First Officer duties, including pilot monitoring and pilot flying, in compliance with the Flight Operation Manual and Captain's directives.
• Conduct interior and pre-flight inspections of the aircraft.
• Initialize navigation systems and verify the accuracy of all manually inserted data.
• Obtain weather briefings, route information, file flight plans, and review all flight details for correctness.
• Assist the Captain in checking all instruments, engines, and communications equipment prior to flight.
• Conduct radio communications necessary for departure after engine starts.
• Pilot the aircraft as directed by the Captain, adhering to established airman procedures and ICAO/GACA/FAA Rules and Regulations.
• Maintain continuous radio communications with appropriate control facilities, making required position reports and receiving changes/amendments to the flight plan.
• Operate navigation systems to assure proper aircraft track in accordance with flight clearance.
• Maintain a navigation log as a cross-check between actual flight progress and the flight plan.
• Advise the Captain of discrepancies noted and assist in developing alternate courses of action when necessary.
• Assist the Captain in assuring the safety and comfort of passengers and ensuring aircraft operation complies with established FAA, Company, and Department Operating and Safety Regulations.
• Support the Captain with securing the aircraft, Customs & Immigration formalities, and passenger disembarkation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot, Fleet Captain, Training Captain, or Captain, including office duty if required.
• Complete all assigned training courses.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Technical Discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation.
• A minimum of 1000 flight hours, including IATP hours.

Required Licenses and Certifications

• Valid GACA Commercial/Pilot License.
• Current GACA Medical Certificate.
• GACA Instrument Rating.
