The Role of FP&A Manager

Asnad is seeking an FP&A Manager to lead a team of FP&A Business Partners. This full-time role, based in Dammam, Eastern Region, involves providing commercial support, monthly management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making support to assigned Business Units (BUs). The manager will also drive automation and standardization of reporting, along with the adoption of AI and analytics tools to enhance financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of FP&A Business Partners, ensuring consistent support across business units.
• Act as the primary finance business partner for assigned BUs, building relationships with Finance Directors and stakeholders.
• Provide commercial support on pricing strategies, proposals, margin analysis, and contract economics.
• Oversee monthly reporting submissions from BUs, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and quality of commentary.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling forecasts, explaining variances.
• Provide financial and operational decision-making support, including developing business cases and scenario analyses.
• Lead the automation and standardization of management reporting using AI and digital tools, and manage EPM solution implementation.
• Review and maintain historical financial dashboards and analytical reports for assigned BUs.
• Support the preparation of Board, ExCom, and leadership presentations.
• Coach and develop FP&A Business Partners, setting performance objectives and identifying training opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in FP&A or a similar financial role.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing finance teams.
• Proficiency in financial governance, reporting standards, and internal controls.
• Experience with reporting automation, AI, and advanced analytics tools is required.
• Ability to conduct market and competitor analysis and drive profitability improvement initiatives.

• Capability in AI and analytics tools, including prompt engineering and quality assurance.
• Ability to develop and refine KPIs for business and financial performance.
• Strong understanding of cash flow optimization, working capital management, and liquidity improvement initiatives.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Region. The role involves working closely with various business units and senior leadership, with potential temporary deployment to business unit sites as required.
