About the Lead Manufacturing Planner Role

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Planner to join our team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves functional management, responsible for leading and directing all active association with customer project management. The role operates with moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment, guided by professional practices and policies.

Core Responsibilities

Manage master planning, material processes and systems, and prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.
Contribute towards strategy and policy development, ensuring delivery within the area of responsibility.
Ensure operational alignment with production plans and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Optimize inventory and process improvements.
Use judgment and propose solutions outside of set parameters with guidance, leveraging prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks.

This position significantly impacts approaches, projects, and programs within the functional area or affected business organization, influencing ways of working across teams. The Lead Manufacturing Planner will have significant input into priorities and directly impacts the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of their own team.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Manufacturing & Materials Planning and Execution function at a leadership level.
Legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction.

Key Skills and Knowledge

Specialized knowledge in the discipline, serving as a best practice/quality resource with awareness of the latest technical developments.
In-depth knowledge of Gas Turbine and Accessory Modules Assembly, utilizing prior experience in similar products/processes and acquired technical expertise to execute production strategy.
Ability to access technical skills and analytical thinking required to solve problems, potentially using multiple internal sources outside of the immediate team for decisions.
In-depth understanding of how the work of the team integrates with other teams and contributes to the overall area.
Proven interpersonal skills or experience acting as an early people leader capable of hiring and developing talent, providing informal guidance to new team members.
