The Role: Prepress Designer

Emdad Pack is seeking a skilled Prepress Designer to join our team in Dammam. This full-time role is essential for preparing print-ready files for offset printing, focusing on folding carton production. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in an offset printing press or a folding carton plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Draw and adjust folding carton dielines, including common types such as tuck end, crash lock, and sleeves.
• Impose jobs accurately on press sheets, specifically for sizes like 70x100 and 50x70.
• Select appropriate boards (*, FBB / Ivory / Invercote 300-350 gsm) and calculate sheet usage and cost efficiently.
• Perform colour separation, trapping, overprint, and prepare varnish and foil layers.
• Prepare final files for Computer-to-Plate (CTP) and offset plates.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a prepress role within an offset printing press or a folding carton plant.
• Must be based in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama.
• Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Eastern Province.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic packaging production environment.
