Refinery Process Engineer Oil & Gas

About the Role

HUDSON is seeking an experienced Refinery Process Engineer to join a reputable Oil & Gas / Refinery company. This full-time position is based in Dammam, KSA, and requires a professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience in refinery operations.

Role Overview

The Refinery Process Engineer will contribute to the operational efficiency and reliability of refinery processes. This role involves applying process engineering expertise to various refinery units and systems, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply expertise in Refinery Operations and Process Engineering.
• Work with units such as CDU, Gasoline, Diesel, Utilities, and Offsite Systems.
• Engage in both Field and DCS Operations.
• Utilize strong knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs, operating procedures, and process interactions.
• Conduct operator rounds and manage operational checklists.
• Participate in RCM workshops and multidisciplinary reliability studies.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Refinery Operations or Process Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with CDU, Gasoline, Diesel, Utilities, and Offsite Systems.
• Hands-on experience in Field and DCS Operations.
• Strong understanding of PFDs, P&IDs, operating procedures, and process interactions.
• Experience with operator rounds and operational checklists.
• Ability to participate in RCM workshops and multidisciplinary reliability studies.
• Exposure to RCM, RBI, HAZOP, or FMEA is preferred.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from SAR 8,000 to SAR 10,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
