About the Opportunity

Cloud Consultancy - CCDS is seeking a Senior Encryption / Technical Lead to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, onsite role involves leading the technical execution and day-to-day coordination of encryption, Key Management System (KMS), and Hardware Security Module (HSM) activities for a major enterprise cybersecurity project. The successful candidate will serve as the primary onsite technical lead, ensuring quality, documentation, testing, and operational readiness while coordinating with various stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead onsite implementation and operational activities related to encryption, KMS, HSM, and cryptographic security solutions.
• Coordinate technical activities among the project team, stakeholders, OEMs, and relevant infrastructure teams.
• Review and approve technical changes, configurations, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
• Supervise encryption, key management, and HSM-related activities.
• Ensure compliance with approved technical designs, security requirements, and project standards.
• Lead technical testing, integration validation, acceptance activities, and remediation of findings.
• Review and maintain High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), configuration documents, runbooks, test cases, and operational documentation.
• Monitor the quality and progress of technical implementation activities and ensure issues are properly escalated and resolved.
• Coordinate with database, network, infrastructure, security, Security Operations Center (SOC), and application teams as required.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers working within the encryption and security workstreams.
• Support knowledge transfer and transition from implementation to Business As Usual (BAU) operations.
• Participate in technical meetings, status reviews, and project governance activities.
• Support incident investigation and complex technical troubleshooting.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity, encryption, key management, HSM, information security, or related technical environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise security technology implementations.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical teams and working directly with enterprise or government stakeholders.
• Previous experience in Saudi government, regulated, or critical infrastructure environments is highly preferred.

Technical Expertise and Skills

• Strong understanding of encryption, KMS, HSM, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), cryptographic key lifecycle management, and security operations.
• Strong documentation, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Required and Preferred Certifications

Required Certifications:

• CISSP or CISM

Preferred Certifications & Training:

• ITIL 4 Foundation
• Thales CipherTrust / Luna technical training or certification
• Relevant HSM, encryption, PKI, or security architecture certification
• Other recognized cybersecurity professional certifications

Work Location and Commitment

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Candidates must be willing to work onsite to fulfill the responsibilities of this role.
