About the Role

Matar Al-Baqami Holding is seeking a skilled Spray Painter / Blaster with expertise in pressure vessels to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position is crucial within the Oil & Energy sector, playing a vital role in ensuring that pressure vessels are finished to the highest quality standards, thereby contributing significantly to product functionality and overall quality.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces of pressure vessels for painting by cleaning, sanding, and removing rust or old paint as necessary.
Apply protective coatings and finishes to pressure vessels using spray painting techniques to meet quality standards.
Operate and maintain spray painting equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure it meets project specifications and quality requirements.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling paint and blasting materials to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other team members to coordinate and optimize workflow in the painting and blasting areas.
Document work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks, ensuring accurate records are maintained.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a spray painter or blaster, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge of painting and blasting techniques, particularly relating to pressure vessel fabrication.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations associated with handling chemicals and hazardous materials.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications related to painting and coating processes.
