About the Role

Matar Al-Baqami Holding is seeking a skilled Spray Painter / Blaster with expertise in pressure vessels to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position is crucial within the Oil & Energy sector, playing a vital role in ensuring that pressure vessels are finished to the highest quality standards, thereby contributing significantly to product functionality and overall quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces of pressure vessels for painting by cleaning, sanding, and removing rust or old paint as necessary.
• Apply protective coatings and finishes to pressure vessels using spray painting techniques to meet quality standards.
• Operate and maintain spray painting equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure it meets project specifications and quality requirements.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling paint and blasting materials to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate and optimize workflow in the painting and blasting areas.
• Document work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks, ensuring accurate records are maintained.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a spray painter or blaster, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of painting and blasting techniques, particularly relating to pressure vessel fabrication.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations associated with handling chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications related to painting and coating processes.
