About Lucidya

Lucidya develops an operating system for Agentic customer experience. The company's primary product line is Agent Studio, an agentic platform where customers build and run AI agents to resolve customer experience issues across text and voice channels in both Arabic and English.

The Role: AI Tech Lead

Lucidya is seeking an AI Tech Lead to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This is a full-time, hands-on senior engineering position responsible for the quality, reliability, and technical direction of the AI layer within the agentic platform. The role requires setting technical standards for a team of AI engineers and involves writing production code. Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Direction: Own and be accountable for the AI architecture and harness, including model selection, prompting patterns, retrieval design, guardrails, and voice pipeline. Document technical decisions with clear rationale.
Quality, Evaluation, and Reliability: Define evaluation standards and transition key work from experimentation to production. Introduce leading testing frameworks for Agentic development. Ensure production monitoring and online evaluations detect quality drops, hallucinations, and latency spikes proactively.
Team Leadership and Engineering Practices: Lead the AI team in designing, developing, and delivering the Agentic Platform. Mentor AI engineers, raise the technical bar through pairing and feedback, and contribute to hiring processes.
Hands-on Delivery: Lead debugging efforts for critical production incidents involving AI behavior. Manage the building of prototypes and experiments to validate new capabilities, such as new models, agent patterns, and voice features, before team commitment.
Cross-functional Partnership: Collaborate with Product to translate customer use cases into technical requirements. Work with Engineering on shared platform initiatives, including tool calling, workflows, deployment, and scaling.
