About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSH) in Riyadh is seeking a dedicated Ambulatory Care Representative I for Registration & Appointments. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring efficient patient access and service delivery within the hospital's ambulatory care settings.

Role Overview

The Ambulatory Care Representative I plays a vital role in managing patient access, acceptance, registration, eligibility verification, and financial status in strict adherence to Hospital policies. This position requires proactive coordination with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure timely and seamless patient services.

Key Responsibilities

• Receives and greets patients, employees, or visitors upon arrival in the clinic, providing information and directions.
• Obtains necessary information, determines, and directs caller concerns to appropriate areas.
• Opens medical records for new patients.
• Reviews and responds to correspondence regarding eligibility for treatment.
• Receives, interviews, and assists patients/families prior to submitting medical referrals paperwork, explaining KFSH&RC Eligibility policy.
• Performs all appointment services and admission functions.
• Registers and initiates required action on all financial letters from Royal Families, Royal Cabinet, companies, General Medical Committees, embassies, and other sources.
• Registers and confirms patient’s visits using the computer system, and takes necessary action for patient’s check-in.
• Receives walk-in patients and takes necessary action for them.
• Retrieves patient information from the system as necessary.
• Verifies patient’s eligibility status, ensuring eligibility for the referred specialty.
• Coordinates with other Hospital staff while booking appointments to ensure patient’s appointments are close to each other (*, X-ray or Endoscopy).
• Participates in the orientation of new employees as required.
• Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
• Participates in self and other’s education, training, and development, as applicable.
• Performs any other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• This position is open to Saudi Nationals only.
• One (1) year of related experience with a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Alternatively, three (3) years of related experience with an IPA Diploma is required.
