About the Accountant General Role

Four Points by Sheraton is seeking a dedicated Accountant General to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of professional experience, offering an opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a reputable hospitality brand.

Role Overview and Objectives

The Accountant General is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial figures, reports, and documents. This role involves organizing, securing, and managing all account books, records, treasury functions, and cash equivalents in strict compliance with established company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information accurately.
• Classify, code, and synthesize numerical and financial data for compilation and maintenance in journals, ledgers, and computer systems.
• Prepare, update, analyze, and disseminate various statistical, financial, accounting, audit, or payroll reports and tables.
• Execute year-end procedures and prepare corresponding reports as directed.
• Prepare, verify, reconcile, and edit notes, invoices, and account statements in accordance with company procedures.
• Collect outstanding amounts due and settle supplier invoices, ensuring timely payment tracking to completion.
• Prepare daily deposits for cash received from all employees involved in cash handling.
• Document, manage, communicate, and implement measures to prevent cash discrepancies.
• Prepare, update, and manage all cash transactions efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of professional experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
• No prior supervision experience is required for this position.
• No specific permits or certifications are required.

• Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pulling, and placing loads weighing a maximum of kilograms independently.
• Undertake all other tasks requested by managers that are consistent with the position's scope.
