About the Role

SHL is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its global OTC team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is critical for managing cash flow and minimizing bad debt provision within the Saudi and Middle East region. The specialist will be responsible for handling customer queries and proactively chasing payments, contributing to the financial health of the region. Hybrid working options are available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all cash collections for the Saudi and Middle East region, including cash receipts forecasting, query resolution, and proactive credit control.
• Issue invoices and monthly statements, and contact customers in line with established cash collection processes.
• Collaborate with the local Sales team to assist with negotiations and escalations, aiming to reduce the age profile of receivables.
• Provide timely and accurate management reporting, including cash collections forecasts, and ensure all unallocated or unidentified credits are maintained.
• Drive targeted AR reductions and contribute to the improvement of relevant controls, maintaining high-quality output in a KPI-driven environment to achieve monthly bookings, billing, and collections targets.
• Foster excellent working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a customer-centric approach in all decisions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven background in credit control.
• Demonstrated independent and proactive approach to work.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an International B2B/OTC business environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience with various payment methods and channels for receiving customer payments.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in Arabic (speaking, reading, and writing) is essential.
• Applicants must be Saudi Nationals.

Desirable Skills

• Experience using Salesforce.
