About the Role

Elm Company is seeking an Associate Principal AI Platform to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to providing advanced expertise in AI platform enablement, focusing on translating business needs into effective AI-driven solutions. The successful candidate will define solution scope, support platform adoption, and ensure strong alignment between business objectives, technical capabilities, and product roadmaps. This position plays a critical part in maximizing business value through strategic AI initiatives, fostering stakeholder engagement, and contributing to platform development.

Key Responsibilities

• Define AI solution scope and platform capabilities based on identified business objectives.
• Evaluate AI use cases and recommend appropriate platform capabilities to meet specific needs.
• Support the adoption and continuous enhancement of AI platform services across the organization.
• Analyze business requirements and accurately translate them into functional, non-functional, and technical specifications.
• Develop solution concepts that are well-aligned with existing and evolving AI platform capabilities.
• Ensure all business requirements are clearly documented and maintain traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

AI Solution Planning and Strategic Alignment

• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure AI solutions are consistent with enterprise architecture and platform roadmaps.
• Evaluate the technical feasibility of proposed solutions and recommend improvements.
• Support the prioritization of platform capabilities based on their potential business value.
• Identify AI-enabled business opportunities and assess their strategic and commercial impact.
• Support the development of comprehensive business cases for new AI initiatives.
• Analyze market trends and emerging AI technologies to identify potential growth opportunities for the company.

Stakeholder and Vendor Management

• Support vendor evaluations and conduct technical assessments related to AI platform services.
• Review vendor deliverables to ensure strict alignment with both business and technical requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with external partners throughout the solution implementation activities.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and AI needs.
• Provide expert guidance on AI platform capabilities and available solution options.
• Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Platform Performance and Governance

• Monitor AI platform performance, adoption rates, and the realization of business value.
• Recommend enhancements to improve platform capabilities and operational effectiveness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the development of AI best practices.
• Prepare comprehensive solution documentation, business cases, technical requirements, and governance artifacts.
• Ensure compliance with established AI governance standards and organizational policies.
• Support reporting activities related to AI platform initiatives.
• Adhere to all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, environmental management policies, procedures, and controls.
• Ensure compliance with information security practices and standards to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in AI platform enablement, solution design, or a related field.
