Bd Manager

About the Role

Career Gulf is seeking a Bd Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on business development and market expansion within Saudi Arabia and the broader MENA region. The Bd Manager will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities and formulating strategic market entry plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of market strategies and business expansion initiatives across Saudi Arabia and the MENA region.
• Monitor policy trends under "Vision 2030," industry developments, and tender opportunities to identify new business prospects and formulate differentiated market entry and growth strategies.
• Develop and maintain key client relationships with Saudi government agencies, PIF-affiliated enterprises, major local conglomerates, telecom operators, and Chinese companies expanding overseas.
• Establish a long-term strategic partnership network and deeply uncover customer needs.
• Lead end-to-end project execution, including RFP/RFI responses, commercial quotations, solution presentations, proof-of-concept (POC) validation, and contract negotiations.
• Drive projects from lead generation to successful signing and ensure the achievement of regional performance targets.
• Promote localization collaboration and ecosystem building by engaging local partners, distributors, and system integrators in Saudi Arabia.
• Design localized solutions and joint venture models, meet localization rate and local content requirements, and build a sustainable regional business ecosystem.
• Coordinate between the China headquarters and the local Saudi team, aligning cross-functional resources including technology, product, legal, and finance teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Regularly deliver market analysis, competitive intelligence, and sales forecasting reports to support decision-making at headquarters.
• Represent the company at local industry exhibitions, business forums, and government engagement events to enhance brand visibility in the Middle East market.
• Ensure all business operations comply with Saudi laws, regulations, commercial compliance standards, and internal company policies.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in business development or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement market strategies.
• Experience in client relationship management, particularly with government agencies and large enterprises.
• Proficiency in managing project execution from lead generation to contract signing.
• Understanding of localization strategies and ecosystem building.
• Strong coordination and communication skills for cross-functional team alignment.
• Ability to conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and sales forecasting.
• Familiarity with Saudi laws, regulations, and commercial compliance standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves working within a dynamic environment that requires coordination between local teams and headquarters, as well as engagement with various external stakeholders and partners.
