Role Overview

Canon EMEA is seeking a dedicated CKSA Credit Control Team Leader to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to Saudi Nationals Only. The role involves leading credit control operations, managing customer relationships, and making key credit control decisions for the company's Riyadh-based activities. The Team Leader will also supervise and develop a collector into an assistant specialist, ensuring accurate customer records and efficient collection processes, while supporting the Credit Control Manager in achieving collection objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire credit control operations for Canon EMEA's Riyadh activities.
  • Take responsibility for credit control, accounts receivable, and collection related to Canon EMEA's Riyadh operations.
  • Own all Accounts Receivable (AR) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Riyadh, including overdues management and cash flow, driving for efficiency and year-over-year improvement.
  • Supervise and develop one collector into an assistant credit control specialist.
  • Act as the lead contact point for branch and account managers in Riyadh, assisting in structuring new deals, resolving conflicts, and collecting overdues.

Operational Duties

  • Maintain frequent contact with customers regarding their accounts, including follow-up on payments, statements, reminders, and Dunning letters.
  • Perform receipts data entry into the ERP system.
  • Conduct customer accounts reconciliation.
  • Reconcile customer balance and Accounts Receivable sub-ledger.
  • Coordinate the distribution of invoices and statements to customers.
  • Coordinate the Collector’s collection of payments from customers.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in credit control or a related financial field. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high sense of responsibility, motivation, and a strong drive for results. This role requires confidence and the ability to make independent decisions as appropriate.
