About Ma’aden and the Role

Ma’aden is seeking a Chief Specialist, Asset Reliability to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to enhancing the company's capability in maximizing asset performance, availability, and lifecycle value across its operations. The position involves providing enterprise leadership for asset reliability, integrating operational priorities, maintenance strategies, asset health insights, and technology capabilities into a cohesive approach across various business units and sites.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Chief Specialist, Asset Reliability creates value by transitioning reliability decisions from reactive interventions to proactive, predictive, and risk-based methodologies. This involves translating complex reliability and maintenance challenges into scalable business and technology solutions designed to improve equipment performance, reduce avoidable disruptions, and optimize the total cost of ownership. As the enterprise domain authority, this role ensures that reliability outcomes, decision logic, and technology priorities are aligned across all assets, focusing initiatives on high-value reliability opportunities that can be effectively scaled throughout Ma’aden.

Key Responsibilities

Shape enterprise asset reliability priorities, key performance indicators (KPIs), and value outcomes to strengthen asset performance and lifecycle value across all business units.
Establish consistent reliability and maintenance decision principles that direct investment and intervention towards the most critical asset risks and opportunities.
Provide technical authority on asset reliability, influencing strategies, priorities, and solutions among operational and technology stakeholders.
