About the Role

Salam is seeking a Commercial Contracts Sr. Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing the full lifecycle of commercial contracts, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting strategic commercial objectives. The specialist will play a key role in defining, drafting, negotiating, and overseeing various contract types.

Key Responsibilities

Define and document commercial contract requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity in scope, deliverables, pricing, timelines, and compliance with internal governance.
Develop, structure, and draft commercial contract documents, tailoring templates and clauses based on contract type, category, and strategic commercial positioning.
Lead and support commercial contract negotiations, providing guidance on commercial structure, risk allocation, terms interpretation, and alignment with company policies and legal standards.
Conduct comprehensive commercial contract reviews to identify risks, ambiguities, or non-compliant provisions, and recommend appropriate amendments or mitigation measures.
Oversee execution and performance of active commercial contracts, monitoring milestones, obligations, and deliverables to ensure full compliance and alignment with business needs.
Manage commercial contract lifecycle events, including renewals, extensions, variations, and terminations, to maximize value and minimize risk.
Resolve commercial contract-related disputes or deviations, coordinating resolution mechanisms and advising stakeholders on liabilities, remedies, and corrective actions.
Maintain centralized and accurate commercial and corporate contracts records, ensuring all versions, approvals, amendments, and correspondence are traceable and stored in approved repositories.
Provide real-time contractual clarifications and interpretations to commercial and procurement teams, ensuring consistent application of terms and company positions.
Oversee leasing contract responsibilities, including renewals, negotiations, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
Ensure proper governance, documentation, and lifecycle management of leasing agreements and key contractual milestones.
Oversee commercial support activities including contract workflow monitoring, documentation governance, archiving compliance, and coordination for audit readiness.
Maintain high-level oversight of contract documentation systems to ensure accuracy, retention compliance, and accessibility.

Reporting and Compliance

Prepare and submit work reports to the function/department head within established time and quality standards.
Adhere to all safety, quality, and compliance guidelines, policies, procedures, and regulations.
