Role Overview

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a Commercial Manager Private Label to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for the strategic development and commercial performance of the company's Private Label portfolio.

Strategic Focus

The core objective of this role is to develop and grow the Private Label business. This involves defining comprehensive category strategies, efficiently sourcing products, and cultivating strong supplier partnerships. The Commercial Manager will be instrumental in achieving sales, profitability, and brand growth objectives for the Private Label segment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the Private Label commercial strategy across assigned categories.
Identify product opportunities and innovation pipelines to increase Private Label penetration.
Manage supplier selection, tendering processes, negotiations, and contract execution.
Lead product development projects from initial concept through to market launch.
Define assortment, pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies for Private Label products.
Monitor sales performance, profitability, and market competitiveness.
Collaborate with quality, regulatory, marketing, and supply chain teams.
Conduct benchmarking and competitor analysis to identify market opportunities.
Drive cost optimization initiatives while ensuring product quality standards are maintained.
Ensure all products comply with legal, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring 5 to 10 years of experience in commercial management, specifically within the Private Label sector or a related retail environment. This role requires a professional with a proven track record in strategic planning and execution within a fast-paced commercial setting.
