The Role: Design Manager - Telecoms/AV/ELV

WSP Middle East is seeking a Design Manager - Telecoms/AV/ELV to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to supporting the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of technology infrastructure across a portfolio of large-scale developments. The role requires a professional who can manage complex design processes and ensure technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage design consultants specializing in telecoms, AV, ICT, security, and ELV systems.
Review technology strategies, design submissions, and technical specifications to ensure alignment with project goals.
Coordinate ICT and low-voltage systems effectively across multidisciplinary project teams.
Ensure the seamless integration of smart technologies, security systems, structured cabling, AV, and communications infrastructure.
Support stakeholder engagement activities and facilitate technical workshops.
Monitor consultant performance and track the delivery of project deliverables.
Review designs and implementations for compliance with relevant standards, project requirements, and authority regulations.
Support the development and execution of procurement and technology implementation strategies.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role must possess over 15+ years of professional experience in a relevant field. Essential experience includes working on large-scale mixed-use, smart city, hospitality, or commercial developments, demonstrating a proven track record in managing complex technology infrastructure projects.
