About Worley and the Digital Solutions Consultant Role

Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, Worley supports clients in navigating complexity and transitioning to more sustainable solutions.

We are seeking a Digital Solutions Consultant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on driving digital transformation initiatives.

Role Overview

This role is for an experienced consulting professional with strong delivery, stakeholder engagement, and program execution skills. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of digital transformation, Operational Technology (OT), asset management, business process improvement, and technology-enabled change within complex organizations. The consultant will support the successful delivery of digital, OT, asset management, data, and transformation initiatives across various business and operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consulting services across digital, Operational Technology (OT), asset management, data, transformation, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Work with clients and delivery teams to define solutions, solve business challenges, and achieve successful project outcomes across multiple engagements.
  • Lead and support opportunity development, proposal preparation, technical write-ups, client presentations, estimates, clarifications, and solution shaping for digital across the Consulting business.
  • Promote safe and responsible working practices in line with Worley and client HSSE expectations.
  • Contribute to consulting methodologies, reusable assets, knowledge sharing, mentoring, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Digital Consulting practice.
  • Define and execute Digital Strategy roadmaps for industrial or capital-intensive organizations.
  • Focus day-to-day on digital solution delivery, data architecture, information management, and technology-enabled business transformation.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and provide advisory support across digital transformation, operational improvement, portfolio management, governance, asset management, and technology initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience managing portfolios, stakeholder engagement, use case prioritization, delivery planning, and benefits tracking.
  • Consulting, advisory, or senior client-facing experience.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders, Product Owners, SMEs, vendors, System Integrators, and delivery teams.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation, asset management, data management, and operational improvement solutions.
  • Experience defining and executing a Digital Strategy roadmap for industrial or capital-intensive organizations.
  • Proven experience in OT/IT convergence, including integration of operational technology (SCADA, DCS, PLCs, historians) with enterprise IT systems (ERP, CMMS, MES).
  • Experience with change management in industrial settings, including workforce adoption of new digital tools and workflows.
  • Experience with cloud environments, including microservices, IaaS, PaaS, and distributed architectures.
  • Experience with cloud and on-premise solution security and compliance controls is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, assess risks, and develop practical recommendations.

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong working knowledge of digital technologies, Operational Technology (OT), data integration, analytics, IoT, OPC, ETL, and related technologies.
  • Good understanding of digital solution delivery, data architecture, information management, and technology-enabled business transformation.
  • Experience with Digital Twins, Data & Analytics, Industrial IoT, APM, or enterprise transformation solutions is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Worley Data Centric Engineering and Design delivery systems (E3D/S3D, SPID, SPI, SPE, SPF) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO15926, ISO14224, CFIHOS (facilities handover), DEXPI (P&ID data exchange), FL3DMS (3D models), and CAPE-OPEN (process modelling software interoperability) is an advantage.
  • Experience with Digital Twin and Asset Performance Management (APM) technology implementations.

Professional Approach and Work Environment

The role requires a proactive, delivery-focused, and commercially aware consulting approach. Candidates should be comfortable operating across multiple clients, industries, and engagement types while maintaining focus on customer outcomes and business value. Travel to client sites is expected. The consultant is expected to contribute to client delivery, proposal support, capability development, knowledge sharing, and the growth of the consulting practice.
