The Role of Director, Infrastructure Asset Optimisation

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director, Infrastructure Asset Optimisation to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves working with clients to address complex business problems within the infrastructure sector, focusing on reducing uncertainty in project development and operational costs. The ultimate goal is to enhance shareholder value through various solutions, from procurement to execution and asset management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of project workstreams and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Conduct meetings and presentations with clients and internal stakeholders, discussing project matters.
• Collaborate with teams and clients, engaging in negotiations and fostering effective partnerships.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, understanding their needs and contributing to their satisfaction.
• Participate in industry events and associations to broaden professional connections and identify growth avenues.
• Contribute to the identification and pursuit of new business prospects aligned with strategic goals.
• Drive project analyses, propose actionable plans, and demonstrate strong decision-making capabilities.
• Exhibit leadership qualities while guiding project delivery effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in project management and business development, preferably within consulting or related industries.
• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience within the infrastructure sector, with exposure to energy, public sector, and/or capital projects across the Middle East region.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of articulating ideas to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and develop creative solutions.
• Self-starter with strong business acumen and a results-driven approach.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
