Overview of the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company | شركة قدية الاستثمارية is seeking a Director - Sales and Marketing for a full-time position in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This role reports directly to the Cluster General Manager and functions as the senior commercial leader responsible for developing and executing sales, marketing, distribution, and revenue growth strategies across a portfolio of hotels.

The position requires a strategic commercial mindset to manage multiple brands and hotel positioning, ensuring each property achieves its market potential while contributing to the overall success of the cluster. The successful candidate will lead all commercial functions through pre-opening, launch, and stabilization phases, collaborating with Revenue Management, Operations, Ownership, and Corporate stakeholders to maximize revenue performance, market share, and long-term asset value.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a cluster-wide commercial strategy to drive revenue growth, market share, profitability, and long-term asset value.
• Establish individual positioning strategies for each hotel based on its target market, customer profile, and business objectives.
• Drive occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and total hotel revenue performance across the portfolio.
• Identify emerging market opportunities, demand trends, and competitive developments to strengthen market position.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and long-term commercial strategy development.
• Lead all commercial pre-opening activities, including developing and executing sales, marketing, digital, and distribution strategies.
• Build account pipelines and secure key corporate, leisure, government, MICE, and wholesale business opportunities prior to launch.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing cluster sales team, developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners.
• Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies, ensuring clear and differentiated market positioning for each hotel.
• Build strong relationships with ownership, operators, tourism authorities, event organizers, and strategic partners.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor the commercial team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience leading sales, marketing, and commercial functions within hotel portfolios, clusters, or multi-property environments.
• Proven pre-opening experience, including commercial launch strategy, demand generation, and market activation.
• Strong understanding of multiple hotel market segments, including corporate, leisure, group, government, events, and tourism-driven demand.
• Demonstrated success in driving occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, market share, and revenue growth.
• Expertise in sales leadership, digital marketing, distribution, and revenue optimization.
• Exceptional business acumen with the ability to translate market intelligence into actionable commercial strategies.
• Strong leadership skills to inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing commercial teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within Saudi Arabia or the GCC hospitality market is highly desirable.
• Experience managing commercial functions for mixed-brand, multi-property, or destination-based hospitality developments will be highly regarded.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Director - Sales and Marketing will operate as a key member of the Cluster Executive Committee. The role involves leading commercial functions across a portfolio of hotels, requiring close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.
