About the Role

Arla Foods is seeking a Growth Channels Assistant Manager to support category development across key growth channels, including eCommerce, Discounters, and Convenience. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and reports directly to the Customer Growth Lead Manager. The role involves translating brand, shopper, category, and customer ambitions into actionable growth plans for key customers and channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of Growth Channel plans across eCommerce, Discounters, and Convenience channels.
• Analyze category, shopper, customer, and market data to identify growth opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop category growth stories, customer presentations, and performance reviews to support customer engagement and business planning.
• Monitor key channel KPIs and track performance against growth objectives.
• Support category reviews, customer business planning processes, and commercial growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Category Development, NRM, and Supply Chain teams to ensure effective execution of growth priorities.
• Contribute to Digital Shelf Excellence and channel execution standards, including assortment, content, availability, and visibility.
• Support promotional planning, seasonal activations, and innovation launches across Growth Channels.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and customer teams to drive category and channel growth.

• Delivery of category and channel growth initiatives across eCommerce, Discounters, and Convenience.
• Quality and impact of customer recommendations and category growth stories.
• Effective use of insights and analytics to identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Category Development, Trade Marketing, Sales, Customer Development, eCommerce, or related FMCG commercial roles.
• Experience working with retail customers, category insights, shopper marketing, or channel development is preferred.
• Good understanding of the KSA retail landscape, particularly within eCommerce, Discounters, and Convenience channels.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical skills with experience using market data, shopper insights, and sales performance data.
• Ability to translate data into practical commercial recommendations.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive mindset with strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to evolving channel dynamics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with category and market data tools is an advantage.
