About the Role

Alyasra Foods is seeking an HR Business Partner to manage HR operations in Riyadh, KSA. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and serves as the primary liaison between the KSA business and the Kuwait HR office. The role involves independently managing employee relations, daily HR operations, and employee complaint resolution, while also coordinating and executing Talent Acquisition and Organizational Development activities led centrally by the Kuwait HR team.

KSA-Kuwait HR Liaison and Communication

The HR Business Partner acts as the essential communication and operational bridge, ensuring the Kuwait HR office is fully informed of all people-related movements and updates across the KSA business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for all HR-related matters between KSA and the Kuwait HR office.
  • Proactively communicating workforce updates, including separations, new hires, internal transfers, role changes, and organizational structure adjustments.
  • Ensuring the Kuwait HR office maintains an accurate and up-to-date picture of the KSA workforce.
  • Flagging KSA-specific regulatory, operational, or employee matters requiring Kuwait HR guidance or decision.
  • Acting as the communication channel for Group HR policies, circulars, and initiatives from Kuwait to KSA.

Employee Relations and HR Operations Management

This role independently manages all employee relations and daily HR operational requests within KSA, ensuring compliance with KSA Labour Law and Group HR policy.

  • Owning and managing employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievance investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Handling day-to-day HR operational requests, processing leave and business trip requests, and supporting employee lifecycle transactions.
  • Liaising with Payroll for accurate and timely inputs and coordinating offboarding processes.
  • Maintaining accurate HRIS records and personnel files, and supporting PRO and Government Relations on work permit renewals and Iqama updates.
  • Documenting and resolving all ER cases fairly, consistently, and legally, escalating complex cases to the Kuwait HR office when necessary.

Talent Acquisition and Organizational Development Support

The HR Business Partner provides crucial local support for talent acquisition and organizational development initiatives led by the Kuwait HR office.

  • Assisting the Kuwait HR Talent Acquisition team with sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication for KSA vacancies.
  • Issuing offer letters and coordinating new joiner onboarding in KSA.
  • Supporting Nitaqat compliance by aligning recruitment activity with Saudization targets.
  • Facilitating the rollout and communication of the annual performance cycle and L&D programs in KSA, as directed by Kuwait HR.
  • Tracking training attendance and completion, and coordinating logistics for training sessions or OD workshops in KSA.

HR Compliance and Reporting

Ensuring full compliance with local regulations and maintaining robust HR documentation and reporting are integral to this role.

  • Ensuring all HR practices, employment documentation, and processes comply with KSA Labour Law, Nitaqat regulations, and Group HR policies.
  • Maintaining and auditing personnel files for completeness, accuracy, and legal compliance.
  • Monitoring regulatory and labour law developments in KSA and communicating changes to the Kuwait HR office.
  • Preparing and submitting regular HR reports covering KSA headcount, joiners, leavers, transfers, and structure changes.
  • Tracking and reporting on key HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, open positions, and Nitaqat ratios.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR operations and the ability to thrive in a centralized HR model.

  • 5-10 years of experience in HR, with a solid background in HR operations; experience as an HR Business Partner or in a liaison role is a strong advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of KSA Labour Law, Nitaqat (Saudization) requirements, and employment regulations.
  • Proven ability to independently manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance management.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage day-to-day HR requests and coordinate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working within a centralized HR model where key decisions and full-cycle functions are managed by a Group HR office.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to keep multiple parties informed and aligned.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools.
