Head of Sales (Saudi Only)

About the Role

Hyatt Place Riyadh Al Sulaimania is seeking a Head of Sales to lead its Sales team and drive business growth. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involves developing and executing sales strategies, building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving revenue targets across key market segments. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience and a strong understanding of the hospitality market.

Role Purpose

The Head of Sales will be instrumental in driving the hotel's commercial success, strengthening its market presence, and fostering valuable long-term partnerships. This position requires a leader passionate about sales and building lasting business relationships within the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the hotel’s sales strategy to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across corporate, government, groups, events, and other key market segments.
• Manage and develop relationships with key accounts and business partners.
• Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, presentations, and hotel site inspections.
• Negotiate corporate agreements, group business, and commercial opportunities in line with hotel strategy.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and business opportunities within the local market.
• Develop and maintain an effective sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up on potential business.
• Prepare sales plans, reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Operations, and other departments to maximize business opportunities and hotel performance.
• Lead, support, and develop the Sales team to achieve individual and departmental targets.
• Represent the hotel at relevant business events, networking opportunities, and sales activities.
• Maintain accurate client and account information and ensure proper follow-up on all sales activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies.
• Strong knowledge of the hospitality market and key market segments.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Experience in leading and developing a sales team.
