About Devoteam and the IT Governance Consultant Role

Devoteam is seeking an experienced IT Governance Consultant to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of professional experience, focusing on driving IT assessments, strategic recommendations, and policy development within IT governance and service management frameworks.

Role Purpose and Scope

The IT Governance Consultant is responsible for leading initiatives that enhance IT efficiency, compliance, and service delivery. This involves developing IT policies, processes, and procedures, as well as managing training and implementation projects for IT governance, ITSM, and IT quality management. The role supports pre-sales activities and proposal development, requiring a deep understanding of IT service management frameworks, organizational design, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive IT assessments and develop strategic recommendations to improve IT efficiency, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Design and implement robust IT governance policies, frameworks, processes, and procedures to ensure operational excellence and risk management.
• Lead and deliver training sessions and awareness initiatives on IT governance, IT Service Management (ITSM), and IT quality management best practices.
• Design and maintain comprehensive IT Service Catalogs, ensuring services are accurately defined, categorized, and aligned with business needs.
• Establish IT organizational structures with clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Lead and manage ITIL frameworks and ISO/IEC 20000 certification implementation projects.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, presenting IT governance and ITSM solutions to potential clients.
• Support proposal preparation and presentation, tailoring solutions to client-specific needs.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of proven expertise in IT governance and ITSM frameworks (*, COBIT, ITIL, ISO/IEC 20000).
• Strong project management skills, particularly in IT Governance, ITSM, and ISO/IEC 20000 implementations.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong understanding of organizational design, roles, and responsibilities within IT.
• Experience leading and delivering IT training and awareness sessions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Relevant certifications (*, ITIL 4 Master, ITIL 4 Managing Professional, ITIL V3 Expert, ISO/IEC 20000 Lead Implementer, COBIT Design and Implementation, CGEIT) are considered a plus.
