About Syarah

Syarah is seeking an IT Helpdesk Specialist to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This is a full-time position focused on providing essential technical support to employees, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and equipment.

Role Overview

The IT Helpdesk Specialist serves as the first point of contact for technical support, diagnosing and resolving issues related to IT hardware, software, systems, and user accounts. The role involves managing support requests, providing timely resolutions, and escalating complex problems to specialized IT teams when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, log, prioritize, and resolve employee support requests within defined response times.
Provide clear updates to users and ensure accurate documentation for closed requests.
Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate IT team with comprehensive details.
Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment including laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, and mobile devices.
Prepare and configure new devices for employee use.
Troubleshoot hardware problems and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets and assigned equipment.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing, collecting, and configuring devices.
Assist with basic administration of Google Workspace accounts and services.
Create, modify, suspend, and manage user accounts as assigned.
Assist with Google Groups, shared resources, and access permissions.
Troubleshoot issues related to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Meet, Google Calendar, and other Workspace services.
Perform advanced troubleshooting for LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and Internet connectivity issues.
Carry out network configuration and troubleshooting tasks.
Troubleshoot FortiGate firewall issues and support firewall-related requests.
Monitor and report recurring network problems.
Escalate routing, switching, and other advanced network issues when required.
