Internal Auditor

About the Role

Kafu (Salla) is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join its team in Riyadh Province, specifically in Riyadh. This part-time role focuses on enhancing internal controls, financial and operational processes, and credit sales activities within a leading company operating in the FMCG and manufacturing sectors. The position is particularly relevant for a business managing over 30 sales representatives involved in credit sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits across various functions including sales, finance, inventory, warehouses, procurement, and general operations.
• Review and assess existing internal controls, policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
• Audit credit sales and receivables processes, encompassing transactions and collections managed by sales representatives.
• Evaluate controls pertaining to over 30 sales representatives, covering credit sales, collections, cash handling, customer accounts, and outstanding balances.
• Identify financial, operational, and process-related risks, and propose corrective actions.
• Review accounts receivable, customer balances, aging reports, and collection procedures.
• Verify transactions, supporting documentation, approvals, and segregation of duties.
• Perform inventory and warehouse audits to identify discrepancies or control weaknesses.
• Review sales returns, discounts, credit notes, and associated approvals.
• Prepare clear audit findings and reports for management, including recommendations and follow-up actions.
• Support management in strengthening controls to mitigate the risk of fraud, errors, leakage, and credit losses.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience is required.
• Previous experience in the FMCG and/or Manufacturing sectors is mandatory.
• Experience auditing businesses with credit sales is highly preferred.
• Experience with businesses managing over 30 sales representatives is strongly preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, inventory, sales controls, and operational auditing principles.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and communicate audit findings clearly and effectively.
