Role Overview

The Junior Reinsurance Officer will contribute to the daily operations of the reinsurance brokerage, providing essential support to the team. This role is designed for a professional eager to learn and develop foundational knowledge and practical skills in reinsurance processes and client servicing within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior officers with administrative tasks related to reinsurance placements and renewals.
Support in the preparation and maintenance of reinsurance documentation, including slips, endorsements, and policy schedules.
Facilitate data entry and ensure accuracy of information in internal systems.
Aid in communication with clients and reinsurers under supervision.
Conduct basic research to support market analysis and client presentations.
Participate in internal training and development programs to enhance industry knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience

0-1 years of professional experience, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
