KNIME Specialist

About the Role

MIS - Al Moammar Information Systems Co. is seeking a KNIME Specialist to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on developing, maintaining, and supporting KNIME workflows within an enterprise environment.

Role Overview

The KNIME Specialist will be responsible for critical data preparation and integration tasks, ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of KNIME environments. This role involves working with various technical teams and business users to deliver robust data solutions and maintain high standards of system performance and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support KNIME workflows.
• Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and data preparation activities.
• Integrate KNIME with enterprise data sources and services.
• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot KNIME environments.
• Support upgrades, testing, deployment, and performance optimization.
• Perform workflow regression testing and post-upgrade validation.
• Maintain technical and operational documentation.
• Support knowledge transfer and coordinate with business users, technical teams, infrastructure, security, and vendors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant hands-on KNIME experience.
• Strong understanding of ETL, data workflows, data quality, programming, and system integration.
• Hands-on experience with KNIME development and administration.
• Experience troubleshooting incidents and performing root-cause analysis.
• Experience working in enterprise production or managed-services environments.
• Ability to participate in controlled change, release, deployment, and upgrade activities.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involving collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective data management and system performance.
