We are seeking a Key Account Specialist, Saudi National, to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a full-time position.

Role Overview

The Key Account Specialist is responsible for generating demand for professional power tools and accessories by offering effective job-site solutions. This role involves managing key accounts to convert inquiries into orders, conducting market research to relay customer feedback to marketing teams, and developing strategies to penetrate and protect the industrial product market. A primary objective is to increase brand share among customers and ensure marketing objectives are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Create demand for professional power tools and related accessories by providing effective job-site solutions to end-users.
• Manage key end-user accounts and ensure inquiries are converted into orders through collaboration with sales teams and distribution.
• Conduct market research on new products and communicate customer feedback to Marketing and product management teams.
• Develop and implement strategies to cover, penetrate, acquire, and protect the business for the Industrial product group in the target market.
• Increase brand share with end-users by focusing on categories that align with marketing objectives.
• Perform key account planning, including regular visits to build relationships and confidence with end-users.
• Identify end-user needs, propose solutions, and expedite their implementation.
• Continuously update product knowledge and demonstrate effective solutions for end-user applications, highlighting features, benefits, and advantages.
• Provide product and safety training to end-users to support higher productivity through correct tool usage.
• Manage new product launches to end-users and ensure the retention of accounts.
• Liaise with sales teams and dealers to ensure quotations and orders are processed efficiently.
• Achieve annual sell-out targets based on focus categories and new products for the target market.
• Meet new customer acquisition targets.
• Communicate and implement marketing campaigns to end-users.
• Prepare key account reports in prescribed formats for review with managers.
• Support Marketing events such as dealer/end-user meets and road shows.
• Maintain all products supplied for demonstration in good working condition and keep an updated list of demonstration tools.
• Ensure the demonstration truck is maintained in good working and clean condition to uphold brand image.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Sales, or Marketing. An MBA is considered a bonus.
• 3-5 years of relevant end-user sales experience.

Required Skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills for representing the organization in public, during media events, product launches, product demonstrations, and trade shows.
• Strong communication skills to convey information effectively to customers, suppliers, and team members.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a group to achieve team goals.
• Proficiency in computer skills for generating reports, viewing marketing metrics, extracting data, and familiarity with e-commerce platforms and social media for customer connection and product promotion.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring regular interaction with end-users, sales teams, and dealers.
