Laboratory Technician

About the Role

RaiDx Diagnostics is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team in Riyadh. This is a full-time, on-site position where the technician will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and maintaining equipment according to established protocols. The role is integral to supporting diagnostic workflows and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards within the laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests.
• Prepare samples for analysis and operate laboratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper labeling and tracking of specimens.
• Oversee the proper storage and disposal of laboratory materials.
• Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff and clinicians.
• Adhere strictly to safety and regulatory standards.
• Participate in equipment maintenance and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in laboratory processes.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in laboratory skills, including sample preparation, handling, and basic diagnostic procedures.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and instruments, including routine maintenance and safe operation.
• Previous experience working as a laboratory technician or in a similar clinical or diagnostic laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety standards, infection control practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Work Environment
