Noon Academy, a leading edtech platform in the Middle East, is seeking a Learning Experience Head Teacher - Sciences to join its team in Riyadh. Role Purpose and Contribution

This academic role is for a Head Teacher specializing in sciences for the National track. It is not a management position focused on departmental administration or headcount. Instead, the Head Teacher will utilize extensive classroom experience to shape the curriculum for thousands of students daily, maintain quality standards for content development, coach delivery teachers, and remain actively involved in teaching to ensure direct understanding of student needs and content effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to define the curriculum, including topic selection, weighting, and the structure of term and year plans (50% of time).
• Provide the final academic review and sign-off on built lessons before they are deployed to students.
• Coach teachers who deliver sessions to students on effective content delivery, managing hybrid classrooms, and maintaining student engagement through digital platforms (30% of time). This involves observation, feedback, and follow-up.
• Deliver teaching sessions personally to stay connected with the content, observe its practical application, and gather direct feedback from students (20% of time).
• Own the academic quality of the science curriculum across Middle School and High School on the National track, covering topic sequencing, weighting, depth, and alignment to student assessments.
• Partner with the Learning Excellence team's observation and evaluation cycle to coach and develop the delivery teaching bench for assigned subjects.
• Analyze assessment signals (Diagnostics, Exit Tickets, End-of-Chapter results, Learning Gain) and translate them into actionable changes for subsequent terms.
• Serve as the academic voice in cross-functional conversations with Design, Learning Excellence, Product, and Data teams.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of actual classroom teaching experience, with genuine depth across both middle school and high school.
• 3–5 years of experience managing or coaching other teachers (*, as a head of department, subject lead, mentor, or in a formal coaching role).
• Familiarity with Saudi national assessments, including Qudurat, Tahsili, and Nafes.
• Strong digital capability and comfort teaching in a digital environment, specifically within a hybrid classroom delivered through a platform.
• Fluent in Arabic and professional proficiency in English.
• Must be based in Riyadh or willing to relocate.
• Saudi nationals with KSA teaching experience are strongly preferred.

Desired Skills and Experience

• A coaching certification or completion of a formal teacher training program.
• Experience with international curricula, not limited to local curricula.
• Familiarity with international assessment frameworks such as PISA, TIMSS, and PIRLS, and their implications for teaching.
• Experience utilizing AI in teaching practices or curriculum development.
• Prior experience with hybrid, blended, or remote instruction models.
